Privacy Policy
AquaPhage Ltd operates this website. This page sets out what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is short because the site does very little.
Who we are
AquaPhage Ltd, Shamir Research Institute, Katzrin, Israel. For anything on this page, write to Dr. Ra’anan Ariav at raananariav@gmail.com.
What we collect
Two things. If you complete the “Request the technical brief” form, we receive the name, work email, organisation and message you enter. If you only read the site, our host records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps.
Why we collect it
Form details are used to send you the technical brief and to reply to you. Server logs are used to keep the site running and secure. We do not build profiles, we do not run advertising, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the form and on legitimate interest for server logs and site security. In Israel, the Protection of Privacy Law 5741-1981 applies. You provide the form details voluntarily; there is no legal obligation to provide them, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
Who else sees it
Only our website host and our email provider, both acting on our instructions and bound to keep the data confidential. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party marketing lists.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months. Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies only. Nothing is set for advertising or cross-site tracking, which is why you are not asked to dismiss a consent banner. If analytics are ever added, this page will be updated before they go live.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to the address above and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Anything material will be described here rather than quietly amended.
